There will be an APICS Professional Development Meeting (PDM) on September 14, 2011, from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm. There will be dinner, networking, and a presentation by Christopher Hillis (President of CLH Logistics) titled, "Using Your Transportation Management as a Differentiator … Your Responsibilities and Your Provider's Obligations."

Hillis will discuss the importance of Transportation Management to businesses and the leverage it offers as a differentiator (while making money) for a company. Participants will learn about the following topics:

• Approach to Transportation Management
• Planning for Success
• Provider Relationship Management
