OSM Students from the case competition visit Xaloy

The OSM Department would like to thank the team of Richard Sima, Catherine Wurts, Ashley Frantz, and Natale Neubert for participating in the APICS Student Case Competition in Pittsburgh on February 11-12, 2011. The competition required each team to analyze a case, write a report, and present their results and recommendations.

The team also had the opportunity to visit Xaloy, a global leader in high-performance machinery components and equipment for the plastics industry. They met with Jeff Miccichi, Operations Manager of Xaloy, to learn about some of the everyday processes that occur at the company.
