Students at the CSX Intermodal Facility in North Baltimore, Ohio.

On Monday, June 25, Operations and Supply Chain Management students toured the CSX Intermodal Facility in North Baltimore, Ohio. CSX is one of three major railway operators servicing the east coast (the other two being Norfolk Southern and Canadian Pacific). CSX operates 21,000 miles of track throughout the eastern United States. The North Baltimore facilty opened up access to 180 new delivery destinations and drastically reduced railway congestion in larger hubs like Chicago, Il.
