On February 10-11, 2012, Cleveland State University sent an undergraduate team to compete in the APICS Mid-Atlantic Case Competition in Harrisburg Pennsylvania. The team was sponsored by the Operations and Supply Chain Management Department, APICS Cleveland Chapter and the CSU APICS Cleveland Student Chapter.
A business case was presented to the students on Friday evening at 6:15 PM. They worked long and diligently until 5:00 AM. They prepared a written solution to the case and a PowerPoint presentation. On Saturday afternoon, they presented their solution to the APICS regional meeting.
The team of Jeremy Workman, Allyson Knight, Jeff (Cheng-I) Su and Wilfredo Robles were presented with a check for $325. All of the team members are graduating this year and it was a great learning experience for them. The accompanying faculty members acting as support staff were Dr. Jay Chen and Dr. Robert Stoll.
