Cigdem Ataseven, OSM Department

After an intensive faculty search, The Operations and Supply Chain Management Department is pleased to welcome Cigdem Ataseven to the department. Ms. Ataseven will be joining us in Fall 2013.

Cigdem Ataseven will receive her Ph.D. degree in Operations Management from the University of South Carolina. Her dissertation focuses on the operational issues and the role of supply chain integration in food banks. Prior to her doctoral studies, she earned her B.S. degree in Management, and her M.S. degree in Operations Management and Decision Sciences from Bilkent University. Some of her current research interests are in the areas of operations strategy, supply chain management, humanitarian operations, manufacturing-marketing interface, and innovation & technology management. Her teaching interests include operations management, management science, and supply chain management. She has previously taught Operations Management classes at the University of South Carolina.
