"Going Beyond Safety Stocks – How Moen Leverages Multi-Echelon Inventory Management to Optimize Stock Levels"

Seeking a way to more effectively manage finished goods and component safety stocks, Moen launched an inventory rebalancing initiative with Voyager Inventory Optimization. Learn about the journey the organization went through to complete this important initiative that spans multiple facilities on two continents. This presentation is oriented not just to the theory, but also how a multi-echelon inventory optimization (MEIO) was actually implemented, and the quantifiable results it delivered. Co-presented by representatives from Moen and Logility, the implementation as well as the Logility Voyager system will be discussed.

Also Covered:
  • What multi-echelon inventory optimization (MEIO) is all about
  • How an inventory segmentation process was developed, implemented, and used to drive master data consistency
  • The progression from single echelon planning to supply chain wide multi-echelon planning
