CLEVELAND TROMBONE SEMINAR (CTS)

Students at the Cleveland Trombone Seminar (CTS) will enjoy private lessons and coaching with leading faculty members. They will perform throughout the week in master classes and in a final concert as soloists and in chamber groups. CTS 2012 will  feature solo recitals given by CTS faculty and guest clinicians. Understanding that many factors lead to great and consistent performances, CTS will hold clinics with professionals in the Feldenkrais and Wellness fields. These professionals will offer advice concerning form, increased progress through correct practice, performance anxiety, and much more. 

CTS Director - Shachar Israel (Assistant Principal Trombone, the Cleveland Orchestra; Trombone Professor, Cleveland State University). Faculty Members for CTS 2012:  Haim Avitsur (Trombone Professor, West Chester University and Queens College; Soloist and Chamber Musician) and Mark Lusk (Trombone Professor, Penn State; Soloist and Clinician)
