CLOCKS IN MOTION The dynamic contemporary percussion ensemble in concert at Cleveland State University on Monday, March 25th at 8:00 pm in Waetjen Auditorium, Music and Communication Building, 2001 Euclid Avenue. The Madison, Wisconsin based ensemble will perform rarely heard works including Lou Harrison’s “Concerto for Violin and Percussion Orchestra” and the rarely heard “Pleiades” by Xenakis, featuring the microtonal “sixxen”- a metallic keyboard instrument designed by Xenakis himself. Founded in 2011, Clocks in Motion is a contemporary percussion ensemble dedicated to performing modern chamber music and commissioning new works. |

Cleveland Contemporary Players Artist in Residency Series The Genkin Philharmonic is a Buffalo, NY-based ten-piece electro-acoustic band specializing in musical genres spanning Rock, Jazz, Improvised, and Classical music.
