CSU Alert Provides State-of-the-Art Communication in Emergencies

CSU Alert is a fast and effective way to communicate emergency information to a large number of people at virtually the same time and it is now available to all CSU students, faculty and staff. It allows the University to contact the CSU community in the event of an emergency via:

  • Text Message
  • Telephone Voice Message (cell and land line)
  • E-mail

The CSU Alert emergency system was introduced to employees during the spring. At that time, employees were sent emails that included information for logging onto the 3N site (3N is the vendor) to check and make changes to the contact information that was pre-loaded.

Now, participants are able to check and make changes to their contact information using CampusNet. (You will no longer be able to access the 3N site directly.)

Students are now able to participate in the CSU Alert emergency system and are encouraged to register for the program.

Getting into the system is simple. Log on to CampusNet and follow the instructions to register and take advantage of the several options available for your contact information. The system will automatically and quickly attempt to notify you in the event of an emergency, exhausting all of the options selected until contact with you is confirmed.

If you are experiencing difficulties or need assistance, please contact the IS&T Call Center at 216.687.5050 or email CampusNet@csuohio.edu.
