Currently, Cleveland State University has an Alumni Association serving the entire alumni population. The student organization GLBT Student Services and GLASA offer resources and programming to active LGBT students at CSU. The establishment of a LGBT alumni organization would be a great opportunity to pool and enhance the existing campus resources and to link LGBT students, alumni, faculty, staff, and friends in an enriching and supportive community. Together, we can improve the climate for LGBT students on campus, increase the visibility of LGBT alumni, provide networking opportunities, and become a resource for information, ideas and positive role models which will improve the status of LGBT alumni, students, faculty and staff at Cleveland State University.
