Meet the Finalist Candidates for CSU’s Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs

As Cleveland State University nears the completion of an extensive national search for a new Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs, I invite all CSU faculty, staff and students to view videos of town hall meetings with the four finalists for this key University leadership position.

These town hall meetings with the candidates (listed below with their most recent academic affiliation) were held in the Main Classroom Building Auditorium on the following dates:

• Tuesday, February 5: Dr. Keith Moo-Young (California State University at Los Angeles)
  
• Thursday, February 7: Dr. Ron Brown (Wayne State University)
  
• Tuesday, February 12: Dr. Deirdre Mageean (Council of Graduate Schools)
  
• Thursday, February 14: Dr. David Francko (University of Alabama)

In their opening statements to the campus community, the Provost candidates outline:

• Their vision for CSU
  
• How their experiences and skills will allow them to implement their vision
  
• Specific areas that CSU must focus on in order to realize their vision

After the opening statement, an open question-and-answer session provided an opportunity for the assembled faculty, staff and students to address each Provost candidate directly.
