   Company: LineStream Technologies
Technology: Industrial Control Software: LineStream’s control algorithm, known as Active Disturbance Rejection Control (ADRC) detects and cancels disturbances such as friction, vibration, and inertia change in real-time, before they result in process errors. The value to manufacturers is an easy software implementation that can slash bottom line costs. The LineStream vision is to use ADRC to significantly reduce waste in a resource-constrained world.

GLC Biotechnology, Inc.

Company: GLC Biotechnology, Inc.
Technology: GLC Biotechnology, Inc., a cancer diagnostics company, is an incorporated company registered in the State of Ohio. Its mission is to develop and commercialize highly sensitive and cost-effective DNA-based tests for the non-invasive detection of cancer. Because great demand exists for highly sensitive and non-invasive methods for the early detection of cancer, DNA-based testing is emerging as a new cancer screening procedure. GLC’s proprietary technologies range from clinical specimen processing to DNA analysis, which are essential to DNA-based testing and thus position GLC to be a leader in the emerging market of molecular cancer diagnostics. GLC has been developing fecal DNA testing for colorectal cancer screening and urine DNA testing for bladder cancer screening and monitoring.
Year Established: 2003
Stage: GLC has been funded by NIH SBIR grants ($3.5 million).
