Criteria for admission
Applicants must have a baccalaureate degree in a health related field, from an accredited institution and be a health care professional. Application requires three letters of reference and recent scores from the Graduate Record Examination (GRE; waived for undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale). Students must meet with an advisor to design a program of study.
To apply for admission
- Complete the graduate admission application and the Health Sciences application and return it with your transcripts and the application fee to the Office of Admissions. The graduate application forms and a Graduate Bulletin may be obtained from:

- You must take the Graduate Record Examination (GRE; waived for undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale) and have your scores sent to Cleveland State University. You may be accepted provisionally prior to receipt of your score.
- The Master of Science in Health Sciences requires two letters of reference from individuals familiar with your work and academic abilities.
