Criteria for admission

Applicants must have a baccalaureate degree in a health related field, from an accredited institution and be a health care professional. Application requires three letters of reference and recent scores from the Graduate Record Examination (GRE; waived for undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale). Students must meet with an advisor to design a program of study.

1. Complete the graduate admission application and the Health Sciences application and return it with your transcripts and the application fee to the Office of Admissions. The graduate application forms and a Graduate Bulletin may be obtained from:

2. You must take the Graduate Record Examination (GRE; waived for undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale) and have your scores sent to Cleveland State University. You may be accepted provisionally prior to receipt of your score.
   
3. The Master of Science in Health Sciences requires two letters of reference from individuals familiar with your work and academic abilities.

4. Contact the Graduate Coordinator to discuss your preferred area of emphasis and to plan a program of study. Students are required to have a program of study indicating their goals and objectives prior to beginning coursework.
