10 weeks of fun, games, crafts, and friends. Make sure your kids get enrolled for an exciting summer camp experience.
Cleveland State University’s Summer Camp program offers 10 consecutive weeks of diverse, theme-based programming. Activities are designed to incorporate active games, creative crafts, and much more. Spots fill fast and are limited to the first 64 campers and 8 Leaders in Training. Sign up today with a $20 deposit. The deadline to register for all programs is the Wednesday prior to each week of camp. Camp is from 9am-4pm.

Come & Conquer CSU
Week 1: June 10-June 14
Kick off camp with with some good old fashioned competition. Camp will be split into two teams this week: Green and White. Each team will compete in week-long challenges, sports, races, and trivia. The final challenge will take teamwork to complete, so you’ll all have to work together to win bragging rights for the week.
Leaders in Training will learn how to lead team building activities.
Super Science Experiment
Week 2: June 17-June 21
Investigate all the cool things you can do with science this week. All campers will learn to make sidewalk chalk, slime, magic mud, and conduct many more kid friendly experiments. Get ready to be the next Super Scientist.
Leaders in Training will participate in a class learning CPR skills.
Summer Splash Water Week
Week 3: June 24- June 28
This week promises to be jam packed with a ton of water fun and super soaking activities. Remember to bring a change of dry clothes this week, as you’re sure to get wet. All games and activities will involve some high quality H2O.
Leaders in Training will participate in learning water safety skills.
Counselors Pick (4 days)
Week 4: July 1-3, July 5
The Counselors will show their independence by choosing the theme for the week. Come have fun playing the counselors’ favorite games and crafts.
Leaders in Training will participate in learning different aspects of basic self-defense.
Happy Holidays
Week 5: July 8-July 12
Campers will have the opportunity to learn and participate in the different holiday activities, crafts, and costumes.
Leaders in Training will participate in learning First Aid skills.
Aspiring Artists
Week 6: July 15-July 19
Explore your creative side with a week full of art and inspiration.
Campers will be able to go beyond crayons and finger paints by participating in different forms of artistic expression.
Leaders in Training will learn proper etiquette and table manners for any formal setting.
Fit as a Viking
Week 7: July 22-July 26
Come join us this week for a fitness inspired week of activities catered for children. Programs such as yoga and cardio training will be in the schedule along with sports and games that will push campers to their limit. This week promises to be challenging and fun.
Leaders in Training will participate in learning about aspects of wellness as they receive a fitness assessment and spend time with a fitness expert.
Around the World
Week 8: July 29- August 2
Come travel with us to different countries all over the world as we explore and learn new cultures and traditions. Expect a week full of learning various languages, diverse games, and crafts. Bienvenue to a week of wonder.
Leaders in Training will receive instruction involving different languages.
Water Water Everywhere
Week 9: August 5- August 9
Enter into the world of balloon fights and water games that will cool you off in the Summer heat. Don’t forget to bring a change of clothes as you are sure to get soaked.
Leaders in Training will learn the skills it takes to become a safe and reliable babysitter.
Music Madness
Week 10: August 12- August 16
It’s the final week of summer, so it’s time to go out in style. Join us for a week full of musical instruments, bands, dance instruction, and singing. Everyone is sure to have a blast as the kids prepare for a live performance.
Leaders in Training will participate in various types of dance instruction.
Safety is our top priority for your camper. All Camp Staff is First Aid/ AED/ CPR certified and we maintain a camper to staff ratio of 8:1. We also ask for identification upon picking up your camper.
Reading at the Rec
7:30-9am
Price: $10\week
This is a programthat takes place before the camp day begins. The focus of the program is to provide time for your child to read and track their progress.
Stay and Play
4-5:30pm
Price $10\week
Stay and Play is an alternative program for a child after camp. This gives the child more time at the Rec to focus on games and learn the rules of sports.
Stay, Play, and Swim
4-5:30pm
Price $27\week
We are offering swim lesson courses that take place between 4-5:30pm. In addition to swim lesson instruction, your child will also participate in Stay and Play for the additional time outside the pool.
