We offer a wide selection of classes in CPR/AED, First Aid, and Lifeguarding. Classes are taught by experienced American Red Cross Instructors. These classes are great for teachers, coaches, health care providers, day care providers, social workers, security personnel and anyone who would like to be able to offer knowledgeable care in the case of an emergency. If these classes do not fit into your schedule we can arrange private certification training for individuals for most of our classes. Certification for job-related emergency response for professional rescuers and health care professionals including two-person CPR, resuscitation mask and bag-valve mask use. Certification is valid for two years from date of class.
Learn to recognize and respond to emergency situations. Participants will learn basic care for injuries and sudden illness as well as how to respond appropriately to breathing and cardiac emergencies for people of all ages. CPR certification is valid for one year from date of class and First Aid certification is valid for three years from date of class. This course satisfies requirements for child care workers.
Learn skills to respond to emergencies involving infants, children and adults. You will learn rescue breathing for infants and children, care for choking victims and CPR for all ages. AED training for adults is included.
Participants will learn how to plan, coordinate, and manage American Red Cross First Aid and CPR classes.
This course will give instruction on sports-related injury prevention, First Aid and adult CPR with AED. Developed in partnership with the United States Olympic Committee, the course is recommended for coaches, sports officials and parents of athletes. Program satisfies the Ohio Athletic Association PAV requirement.
This class will provide individuals a foundation of first aid principles and skills to be able to respond to emergencies and give care in areas that do not have immediate emergency medical service (EMS) response. This includes wilderness and remote environments, including urban disasters, such as earthquakes and hurricanes. Participants must possess a current adult CPR/AED certification and be at least 14 years of age.
