* My favorite book is Beach Music by Pat Conroy (fiction), The Interpretation of Dreams by Sigmund Freud (nonfiction). * My favorite college memory is seeing the joy on my parents faces when I graduated (the first in my family to do so); or maybe it was the time the two Hawaiian football players across the hall in the dorm built a snowman in their room the first time they saw snow. * The thing I enjoy doing the most when I'm not teaching is traveling (or maybe drinking beer). Actually they go together. * My favorite vacation get-away is the mountains of Idaho. * My favorite thing about working at CSU is the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students. * Other than my current job, my DREAM job would be sommelier. * I was born in Hagerman, Idaho. * I did my undergraduate work at Idaho State University. * Anyone who knows me uses this ONE word to describe me: “brilliant”, “witty”, “dedicated”, I seriously do not know. So maybe it’s “clueless”. * My favorite teacher during my life was Alan Hartman because he modeled for me the joy of an academic life – especially teaching and mentoring students. |
