The certificate program consists of 15 credit hours.

Become a vital advocate for those wishing to learn English as another language, either in the United States or abroad. The certificate program includes five of the core courses necessary for TESOL endorsement that can be added to a teaching licensure in any field.

The certificate has two options: Arts Management, which emphasizes coursework in Business and Communication, and Community Development, which focuses on courses in Communication and Urban Studies. The certificate program consists of 15 credit hours in addition to nine credit hours of prerequisite courses.
