This program prepares you to sit for the National Music Therapy Board certification exam administered by the Certification Board of Music Therapists.

Designed for the student who seeks to study music in its wider cultural context. You will deepen your understanding and appreciation of music through topics such as music theory, musicianship, music history and ethnomusicology. You will also have the opportunity to participate in ensembles or take applied music lessons to further develop your musical skills.

Learn in a state-of-the-art building that houses two performance halls, three large rehearsal halls, two chamber music rehearsal rooms, four electronic music/computer laboratories and dozens of practice and specialized teaching spaces.

Native American Studies Minor
Native American Studies Minor

Develop a deeper understanding of the history, cultures and contemporary issues of Native American peoples, allowing you to critically analyze and engage in discussions about indigenous perspectives and experiences. The minor consists of 12 credit hours.
