Post Graduation Checklist

fall23doctoralceremonyCongratulations! You are now among the 140,000-plus members who comprise our growing alumni family. As you prepare for the next step in your journey, please remember to complete the following items on the post-graduation checklist:

  • Diplomas will begin mailing in late May. Please update your mailing address if necessary, via the Personal Data link in CampusNet. If you need to provide an international address, submit a Change of Student Information form to the Office of the University Registrar at registrar@csuohio.edu

  • Incomplete grades in your final semester can delay your graduation date to the following semester. Contact your academic advisor if you have concerns.

  • You must resolve any financial or parking holds that may be on your account prior to the release of your diploma or any transcripts that have been ordered. Contact the Bursar's Office at bursar@csuohio.edu or 216-687-5249 to resolve any outstanding account balances. If you have any outstanding parking fines, contact Parking Services at parking@csuohio.edu or at 216-687-2023.

  • Please continue to check your CSU email account after your final semester. If there are any outstanding issues that prevent us from awarding your degree, you will be notified by email.

  • In order to graduate, you are responsible for enrolling in and completing the courses required of your program of study as listed on your Degree Audit report. It is imperative that you confirm that you have completed each set of requirements listed within your Degree Audit report with 'Completed' or 'In Progress' courses.

  • You can check your Graduation Status on the Graduation tab in CampusNet to ensure that you are on track for Spring 2024 graduation. It is particularly important that you review your Degree Audit report if you have made any changes to your schedule.

  • If you have any questions about your Degree Audit report or need help resolving any red X's, contact your Academic Advisor or Program Director.

  • Update your non-CSU contact information to stay engaged with the Alumni Association.

  • View your commencement ceremony online.

  • Get involved with other young alumni by applying to join the Young Alumni Council (YAC) comprised of young alums 35 years old or younger who have graduated in the last 10 years.
