Teams:
Microsoft Teams is the chat-based workspace in Office 365. It helps your team to work better together. It’s one APP that brings your team’s conversations, meetings, files and notes together into a single place for open and seamless collaboration.

Remote Access - VPN (Virtual Private Network)
A virtual private network (VPN) is a “tunnel” connection created to allow secure communication over public networks. Essentially, VPNs encrypt the traffic from your home or remote computer to the CSU network, allowing you to work remotely without worry of someone intercepting your communications. It uses extra authentication technology which will let you access data and applications not accessible to the general Internet population.
- How do I know if I need VPN access?
- You need VPN access if you have to access your campus computer, PeopleSoft or your share drives. If you are not sure, please call the IS&T Help Desk

- How to transfer my office phone to my cell phone?
- You can request your office phone transferred to your your CSU cell phone, personal phone, or home phone. Please call the IS&T Help Desk (216) 687-5050, Option #7. Or email helpdesk@csuohio.edu. Please note that that your may incur long distance charges or overage on your cell phone plan.
- How do I check my voicemail while I’m not at work?
- From off campus, dial 687-2001, when prompted, enter your mailbox number and your security code.
- How do I change my voicemail message while working remotely?
- From off campus, dial 687-2001, when prompted, enter your mailbox number and your security code. Listen to the message and select M-make new message or U-User Options (2-Message, 4-Standard, 6-Out of office)
