Let's Go VIKES!!! Both CSU Vikings Basketball Teams Playing for Horizon League Championships Today!

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (March 7. 2023) - For the second straight season the Cleveland State University women's basketball team will be making an appearance in the Horizon League Championship game, as the second-seeded Vikings earned a 63-60 overtime victory against No. 5 Northern Kentucky. With the win, the Vikings are now 29-4 overall this season and 2-0 in #HLWBB Tournament play this year. They advance to Tuesday's championship game against number-one-seed Green Bay at noon today. CSU men's basketball team also punched its ticket to the Barbasol Horizon League Championship Game with a 93-80 victory over Milwaukee Monday night. The Vikings never trailed in the contest, and advance to Tuesday's championship game against fourth-seeded Northern Kentucky (7:00 p.m., ESPN). The Vikings had five players in double figures and shot 50 percent from the floor. Cleveland State raced out to a 46-28 lead in the first half and kept the lead in double digits for virtually the entire second half on its way to the championship game.
