Cleveland International Film Festival Takes Center Stage

Spring is here and with it comes the return of the Cleveland International Film Festival, taking place March 27 through April 5.
Part of the event includes the CIFF: Filmmaker panels which will take place at CSU’s School of Film & Media Arts located at the Idea Center, 1375 Euclid Avenue, Suite 600. It features filmmakers whose work is included as part of the CIFF and will be moderated by members of the CSU faculty.
Taking things a step further, this year’s edition promises to be a special one for four CSU students and alumni whose films will be featured at the event.
They include:
Charger (Production III) by Director, Richard J. Bryer ‘25
Marshmallows (Thesis) by Director, Maris Wirt ‘24
Showtime (Thesis) by Director, Benicio Calo ‘24
Hand Job by Directors Davis Cameron Chu ’22 and Meezahn Senbetta
Hand Job will screen in the Shorts 1 program Friday, March 28 at 12 p.m.
Charger, Marshmallows and Showtime will all screen in the Local Heroes Student Shorts program, taking place Thursday, April 3 at 7:20 p.m.
