Ernst & Young accountant Neal Burk, who graduated from Cleveland State University’s Monte Ahuja College of Business with a master of accountancy degree in 2013, passed his CPA exam with flying colors.

He recently was honored by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) for his outstanding performance on the Uniform CPA Examination.

More than 91,000 candidates sat for the exam last year. Burk was the only test-taker in Ohio – and one of only 60 nationwide – to receive the AICPA’s Elijah Watts Sells Award, named after one of the first CPAs in the United States.
