CSU Celebrates Black History Month
February is Black History Month, and Cleveland State University has plenty of special programming in store for the community in the coming weeks and throughout the rest of the semester.
Wednesday, Feb. 5:
Black History Karamu with Dr. Carter G. Woodson and Madam C.J. Walker Extravaganza, featuring DJ Chris Style, students from the Cosmetology Department at Shaw High School and Hue People with a special Freedom Songs tribute to Bernice Johnson Reagan of Sweet Honey in the Rock from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. in the Student Center Atrium, 2121 Euclid Avenue.
Thursday, Feb. 13
Solidarity Day, featuring Black Trivia, Wheel of Fortune and other fun games, Howard A. Mims Cultural Center, Berkman Hall, room 137, 1899 East 22nd Street.
