CSU Faculty to Showcase Brahms in Free Concert on October 6
Grammy Award-winning pianist Angelin Chang, D.M.A., coordinator of keyboard studies in the Department of Music at Cleveland State University, will perform with two members of the Cleveland Orchestra – violinist Peter Otto (also a member of the CSU faculty) and cellist Brian Thornton – at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 6, in CSU’s Drinko Recital Hall, 2001 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland.
Presented as part of the Dr. John A. Flower Faculty Concert Series, the performance will feature an all-Brahms program.
The concert is free and open to the public. It will be recorded by WCLV FM/104.9 and broadcast at a later date.
Dr. Chang won a Grammy in 2006 for her recording of Olivier Messiaen’s “Oiseaux Exotiques” with the Cleveland Chamber Symphony.
