CSU has become a destination…
Linda Krecic, proud mom of Joey, a Class of 2018 golf team recruit, could not be happier that her son has chosen Cleveland State University. After living and working in Cleveland for many years, she is continually impressed with how CSU has been an integral part of the renaissance of Cleveland.
“CSU has become a destination – not something to pass through on a bus route – and is being beautifully and successfully integrated into its surroundings,” said Linda. In visiting other well-known Ohio college campuses, Linda and Joey were blown away by the stylish and spacious dorms at CSU, as well as how the best foods from Cleveland are incorporated into the daily campus dining offerings. Even more than the housing and the food, Linda is “so happy for the opportunities the students have within reach.” Students at CSU take advantage of Cleveland-area partnerships giving them access to internships and co-ops, and in turn, giving the many companies in Cleveland access to the best local talent.
A graduate of St. Ed’s from Columbia Station, OH, Joey is interested in studying marketing and advertising, looking forward to living in Euclid Commons and playing on the men’s golf team.
