CSU Moves into New Arts Campus - CSU in the News
A Photo Tour
Cleveland State's new Arts Campus is taking shape, and in the process, drawing the attention of performing arts students nationwide. This month construction crews are placing finishing touches on the Middough Building renovations, as faculty, staff and students move into the new facility.
The Middough is the new home to CSU's Theater, Dance and Art departments, just a stone's throw from the Allen Theater, where a recent $30 million reconfiguration now offers CSU students three state-of-the-art performance venues in the heart of the nation's largest theater district west of Broadway.
The Middough Building includes more than 120,000 square feet of classrooms, rehearsal space, art studios, offices, meeting rooms and production shops for sets and costumes. It is one of the most extensive undergraduate theater and dance facilities in the nation, and the only program in the country working alongside a professional theater company, the Cleveland Play House.
