Cleveland State University online programs have again been recognized as among the best in the country in the 2023 U.S. News & World Report Best Online Programs rankings.

CSU was ranked in four categories: Best Online Master’s in Nursing Programs, Best Online Master’s in Business Programs, Best Online Master’s in Education Programs and Best Online Bachelor’s Programs.

“These rankings highlight the recognition of the quality of our online programs at CSU,” said Sajit Zachariah, Ph.D., Vice Provost and Dean, CSU Online. “Providing access to excellent online programs to the communities we serve is an important focus of our strategic plan.”

U.S. News & World Report annually evaluates degree-granting online programs at regionally accredited institutions. The publication ranks schools offering online bachelor's and online master’s degree programs in seven disciplines.

"With all of our programs, we strive to provide an excellent academic experience for our students, both on and off campus. Our faculty members and administrators work diligently to create online courses that are engaging, challenging and transformative,” said CSU President Laura Bloomberg, Ph.D.

“Thanks to their efforts and creativity, we have been able to exceed the expectations of students looking to continue their education outside of the physical classroom.”

In addition to the accolades for online programs, U.S. News & World Report continues to rank CSU as one of America’s best national universities, including the #1 university in Ohio for social mobility. To learn more about CSU’s many online offerings, visit online.CSUOhio.edu.
