CSU Salutes Donors

The Cleveland State University Foundation’s inaugural Donor Recognition Event brought more than 150 donors to campus on Wednesday, August 14, 2013, for a vibrant celebration of their leadership and philanthropy.

The guests of honor were greeted by CSU student ambassadors and gathered in a well-appointed tent on the front lawn of Mather Mansion for a festive evening. Hors d’oeuvres and cocktails were served, with musical accompaniment provided by a string quartet of CSU students.

Among the attendees were benefactors from the following CSU donor recognition societies:

  • President’s Cabinet ($1 million or more)
  • President’s Circle ($500,000 to $999,999)
  • Honors Circle ($100,000 to $499,999)
  • Scholars Circle ($10,000 to $99,999)
  • Legacy Society (honoring those who have included CSU in their estate planning)

CSU President Ronald Berkman and Berinthia LeVine, vice president for University Advancement and executive director of the CSU Foundation, welcomed donors and thanked them for their generous support of the University. As a thank-you gift, guests received distinctive CSU lapel pins, with a unique design for each level of giving.
