CSU Student Eric Magvas Wins Viking Shield Raffle
Eric Magvas, a first-year nursing student at Cleveland State University, is the winner of the CSU Police Department’s Viking Shield raffle.
His prize package included a new Fuji 10-speed bicycle, compliments of Viking Shield, and a new U-lock to keep the bike safe.
Magvas was one of dozens of students whose names were entered into the raffle when they attended the CSU Police Department Safety Fair on October 28 and showed that they had downloaded the Viking Shield app on their smart phones.
CSU Chief of Police Gary Lewis, Lieutenant Beverly Pettrey and Crime Prevention Officer James Rivera presented Magvas with his prizes.
Viking Shield offers direct and immediate contact with the CSU Police Department dispatch center, at the touch of a button. The free smart-phone app is available from Google Play and iTunes.
