Cleveland State University's Honors Program newsletter, Four Point O, captured first place in this year's National Collegiate Honors Council Newsletter Contest. The contest was open to the hundreds of honors programs from throughout the nation, said Dr. Peter Meiksins, director of CSU's honors program.

"This award signifies that we are on par with the top honors programs in the nation," he said. "I'm very proud of these students. They did a terrific job this year."

Four Point 0 is a newsletter developed exclusively by students during one of the program's experience courses. This year, the newsletter focused on student research at the Cleveland Clinic, the University's budget challenges, student athletes in the honors program and study abroad.

Graphic designers Adina Feigenbaum and Tom Dang laid out the publication, and faculty members Jessica Schantz and Toni Thayer acted as advisors.
