CSU Welcomes More than 300 New International Students from 20-Plus Countries

Cleveland State University has welcomed one of the largest groups of international students in University history. Currently, 308 students are fully enrolled for Fall Semester, and more than a dozen additional students will arrive by late August. This new group includes 206 graduate students, 98 undergraduate students and four law students.

In total, CSU is home to 1,293 international students at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. These students represent more than 20 countries, with the largest populations coming to Cleveland from Saudi Arabia, India and China.

Our new international students have enjoyed a full array of welcome activities, including a picnic, trolley tours of downtown Cleveland and traditional new student orientations. A group of 50 students will travel to Niagara Falls over the Labor Day weekend for an elective trip.
