Trailblazing program is top accredited online MBA in Ohio

The Mobile Accelerated MBA (AMBA) at Cleveland State University’s Monte Ahuja College of Business is ranked No. 51 on U.S. News & World Report’s 2014 list of the Best Online Graduate Business Programs in the nation. The program’s faculty ranking was No. 11.

CSU’s Mobile AMBA is the No. 1 online MBA program in Ohio accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). The program ranks among the top 50 AACSB-accredited online MBA programs in the United States.

“It is gratifying to see the hard work of our faculty and staff recognized by the most important rankings organization,” said Dr. Elad Granot, assistant dean of MBA programs at CSU. “Being one of the top 50 AACSB online MBA programs is an amazing achievement for us, especially considering that our program was launched only two years ago. Moving forward, we aim to provide even more value to our students and alumni as we seek to increase our ranking.”

Launched in 2012, CSU’s Mobile AMBA was the first fully mobile, one-year MBA to receive AACSB accreditation, the highest standard of achievement for business schools worldwide.

The trailblazing program allows students to earn an MBA within one year by completing all classes and tests online. Each student in the program receives a new Apple iPad and mobile service from Verizon Wireless to access digital course materials, including e-books, interactive learning systems, course modules and study apps.

CSU’s Mobile AMBA debuted on the U.S. News & World Report Best Online Programs rankings (now in their third year) at No. 57 in 2013.

For the latest rankings, U.S. News & World Report evaluated nearly 1,000 online degree programs. Online MBA programs were ranked based on a variety of factors, including level of accreditation, reputation for excellence among peer institutions and academic and career support services for students.
