Dr. Mary Myers Wins Golden Key International Honour Society’s 2013 International Advisor of the Year!

ATLANTA – Golden Key International Honour Society, the world's largest academic honor society for college and university students, recently selected Dr. Mary C. Myers from Cleveland State University (USA) as the winner of the prestigious 2013 International Advisor of the Year Award.  Annually, Golden Key members and chapter advisors are eligible to apply for over $1,000,000 in scholarships and awards.

The 2013 International Advisor of the Year Award recognizes one Golden Key advisor from the 13 regions, to include over 400 campus-based chapters in eight countries, for outstanding service and leadership to Golden Key International Honour Society. The selected advisor will receive a commemorative plaque and $2,000. This is one of our most prestigious awards in recognition of the time, energy and commitment of all Golden Key International Honour Society Advisors.

Dr. Mary Myers in the words of her students is experienced, dedicated, unequaled, supportive, fearless, confident and unassuming.  Leading from the heart and letting others shine is what sets her apart; not only does she live the values of Golden Key International Honour Society but she inspires others to hold them in esteem as well.  Cleveland State University Golden Key outgoing Chapter President, Allan Biggins stated, “Dr. Myers epitomizes leadership.” Their chapter earned GOLD status for 2013.
