Elements Offers a Free Meal to Furloughed Federal Employees
Workers affected by the shutdown can eat for free Jan. 22-25
Elements Bistro, Cleveland State University’s fine dining restaurant, has announced a new effort designed to assist individuals being impacted by the ongoing government shutdown.
From January 22 through 25 current furloughed federal employees can receive a free entrée when they present a valid government identification.
“We wanted to thank federal employees for their service to our community and provide some assistance at a time when they are not receiving a regular salary,” says Steve Adams, general manager of Elements.
The offer only applies to food, has no cash value and there is a limit of one entrée per guest.
Elements, which opened in 2008, provides fine cuisine using foods and products from local farms and producers. The restaurant is located at 2300 Euclid Avenue on the campus of CSU and is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
