April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month – and Cleveland State University is committed to providing an educational environment free from sex discrimination. It’s all about “Creating a Safer U.”
CSU needs YOUR input to understand student perspectives and experiences related to sexual assault. If you receive an email invitation, please take the confidential Safer U Survey between April 4 and April 29, 2016, and you’ll be eligible for a chance to win an iPad, parking passes, gift cards and other prizes.

Empowered Bystander Training
Tuesday, April 19 | 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. OR Wednesday, April 20 | 3 p.m.-4:30 p.m.

Attend one of these sessions, developed in partnership with the Cleveland Rape Crisis Center, and learn how to become an “up-stander” who promotes a safe and healthy campus culture. CSU Greek organizations invite the campus community to come together for a march, candlelight vigil and musical performance in support of ending sexual violence in all forms.
The Ohio Department of Education recently awarded $7,500 to CSU in support of peer education related to target sexual violence prevention efforts. Learn more at www.csuohio.edu/titleix.
