Volunteer Experience:
I am a volunteer water monitor for the Friends of Euclid Creek in the Euclid Creek Watershed and serve on their Board of Directors. I am an Adopt-a-Beach Team Leader for the Alliance for the Great Lakes, and serve on their Cleveland Young Professionals Council. I also volunteer with the Cleveland Metroparks Watershed Volunteer Program. The volunteer work I do is geared towards environmental education and improvements.

Why did you choose the Levin College of Urban Affairs?
I chose the Maxine Goodman Levin College of Urban Affairs to incorporate policy and administrative training with my background education in environmental science.

What is your future?
I am actively pursuing a career in sustainable water management. 

Who or what inspires you? How?
Lake Erie is a huge freshwater resource in my own backyard that motivates me to help improve the water quality in growing urbanized watersheds.

What issues are you passionate about? 
Water quality, public health, and resource management.

What is your favorite thing about Northeast Ohio?
Lake Erie and the Cleveland Metroparks! I love kayaking and hiking.

What is Northeast Ohio’s best kept secret? 
The State Park Campgrounds! Affordable, scenic, and a lot of fun recreational opportunities.

What is your favorite Levin memory so far? 
Joining Levin College's Mentoring Program and meeting my mentor Kurt Princic, District Chief of the Northeast Ohio Environmental Protection Agency. He has been very engaged in the program, and provided me with opportunities to participate in discussions related regional plans for Lake Erie.
