Levin College Selected as Vibrant NEO’s 2021 Regional Champion
Dean Roland V. Anglin, Ph.D. Serves as Ceremony’s Keynote Speaker
The Maxine Goodman Levin College of Urban Affairs has been selected as the 2021 Vibrant NEO Regional Champion and was recognized at the Fourth Annual Vibrant NEO Award Ceremony on November 18, 2021.
The program honors organizations, individuals, communities, and programs that are doing work to help build a resilient, more equitable region that aligns with principles of Vibrant NEO’s planning framework.
The Levin College was selected as the 2021 Regional Champion for playing a leading role in supporting regional collaboration and creating vibrant communities.
The Levin College has been selected as the 2021 Vibrant NEO Regional Champion and were recognized on November 18, 2021 at the Fourth Annual Vibrant NEO Award Ceremony.
The Vibrant NEO Awards celebrate champions who are making Northeast Ohio a more sustainable, vibrant, and resilient region for all residents. The program honors organizations, individuals, communities, and programs that are doing work to help build a stronger, more equitable region that align with the principles of the Vibrant NEO planning framework.
“This is truly an honor,” said Roland V. Anglin, Ph.D., dean and professor at the Maxine Goodman Levin College of Urban Affairs said. “Promoting regional collaboration has long been a focus of the College, and we are thrilled that our efforts are valued by our partners and our community.”
Dr. Anglin served as the virtual ceremony’s keynote speaker.
The Levin College was selected as the 2021 Regional Champion for “playing a leading role in supporting regional collaboration and creating vibrant communities.”
“The award recognizes all of the work that the College has done to foster regional collaboration,” said Kathryn Hexter, chair of the Vibrant NEO Regional Champion Program Committee, Vibrant NEO Board.
“The College has been a valued partner of Vibrant NEO since it began with the Northeast Ohio Sustainable Communities Consortium (NEOSCC) grant in 2014, and before NEOSCC, the College played a leadership role addressing the need for regional collaboration and cooperation.”
