Cleveland State University is once again at the top tier when it comes to exhibiting leading practices and supporting post-military students, receiving a Military Friendly distinction for 2023-24, the 12th time in 14 years, and hitting the Silver Status distinction three years in a row in the Tier 2 research institution category.

The Military Friendly designation is the military rating division of VIQTORY Media, a service-disabled, veteran-owned business that also serves as the publisher for G.I. Jobs and Military Spouse. Military Friendly rates companies and colleges based on their programs to recruit and retain military veterans as both employees and students.

The Military Friendly Schools ratings list is evaluated through public data about an institution and proprietary data gathered through the free Military Friendly Schools survey beginning each year in July. The annual, data-driven Military Friendly Schools survey assessment is accessible to more than 8,800 institutions nationwide.
