Cleveland State University’s sixth annual Radiance, CSU Realizing the Promise takes place Friday, May 13, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Glasscock Family Foundation Ballroom of the CSU Student Center, 2121 Euclid Ave.

A cocktail/hors d’oeuvres/dessert reception with short program, Radiance is CSU’s signature event in support of student scholarships. Over the past five years, Radiance raised more than $3.7 million, providing scholarships to 1,186 students in good academic standing who were at risk for dropping out of school due to financial issues.

This year’s event will include a celebration of scholarship with President Ronald M. Berkman and students, and presentation of the President’s Medal to Steven A. Minter, former president and executive director of the Cleveland Foundation. The President’s Medal is CSU’s most prestigious non-academic recognition. Minter is being recognized for his civic leadership, his philanthropy and his service to CSU and the community.

Individual tickets for Radiance are $250 ($210 tax deductible). Individual sponsorships are $500 ($460 tax deductible, includes one ticket), $1,000 ($920 tax deductible, includes two tickets) and $2,500 ($2,340 tax deductible, includes four tickets).
