Meet Camilo A. Ferro.

Ferro is an entrepreneur and sustainability innovator with more than 15 years of experience advancing solutions to plastic waste. After starting his career in logistics, he transitioned into the emerging compostable packaging industry, helping introduce sustainable alternatives to the market. He later founded Earth 2 Earth, served as vice president of sustainability and innovation at Nature's Source, and now leads RAWS Americas as president, bringing next-generation plastics technology designed to eliminate persistent plastic waste without creating microplastics to market.

Working across manufacturing, packaging and product innovation, Ferro has collaborated with industry leaders, policymakers and researchers throughout North America and internationally to accelerate sustainable solutions. His work is driven by a simple belief: lasting environmental progress depends on credible science, transparency and practical implementation.

The topic of his talk is New Chemistry to Solve the Microplastics Epidemic.
