We're Goin' Dancin'!: CSU Women's Basketball headed to NCAA Tournament after decisive play against top-seed Green Bay; Vikes log first Horizon League Championship in 12 years!

INDIANAPOLIS, IN (March 7, 2023) — We're going to The Big Dance! Gabriella Smith made five three-point shots and scored 19 points. Brittni Moore had 14 points and 10 rebounds. Horizon League Player of the Year Destiny Leo had 13. Those numbers put the No. 2 seed Cleveland State Vikings over top-seed Green Bay Phoenix 73-61 on Tuesday, claiming their first Horizon League Tournament championship since 2010. CSU (30-4) played its second straight tournament championship game and have officially punched the program’s ticket for a third appearance in the NCAA Tournament. The win also broke a two-game losing streak against Green Bay this season.

Could the CSU men's basketball team follow suit? They're in the Barbasol Horizon League Championship Game tonight after logging a 93-80 victory over Milwaukee on Monday.
