Weston Ideation Lab Delves into the Creation of “Side Hustles”
Business owner Jessica Yox speaks at CSU Feb. 25
Cleveland State University’s Monte Ahuja College of Business is hosting a new series designed to help students develop business ideas while they are still in school. How to Create a Side Hustle, presented by CSU’s Weston Ideation Lab, will feature its next speaker, Jessica Yox, co-owner of Two One Fix Bicycle, on Tuesday, February 25.
The event will begin at 11:30 am and will be held in the Monte Ahuja College of Business, Room 308 (Weston Idea Lab), at 1860 East 18th Street. The program is free and open to the public but registration is required.
How to Create a Side Hustle allows attendees to learn from collegiate “side hustlers” who have created and maintained successful business while completing their degrees. It will provide insights on the creation of a business idea and the development and management of the business as it expands. This includes capturing the first client, establishing a marketing campaign and developing a financial plan.
Jessica Yox is the co-owner of Two One Fix Bicycle, a mobile bicycle repair shop based in Cleveland. Two One Fix offers a convenient solution for riders in need of quick bicycle maintenance and repair by providing on-site support or pick up and drop off, depending on the complexity of the repair.
