You're Invited: CSU’s Annual Veterans Day Appreciation Ceremony on November 8
Join us in celebrating our nation’s heroes, including the 2023 NEOPAT and CSU Student Veteran of the Year
CLEVELAND, Ohio (November 2, 2023) — Members of the Cleveland State University community will honor our veterans at CSU’s annual Veterans Day Appreciation Ceremony. The event will be held at CSU’s Fenn Tower (3rd floor ballroom) on Wednesday, November 8, from 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
The program includes:
- Presentation of the national colors and veteran salute by the Wolfpack Battalion, John Carroll University
- National anthem performed by CSU’s Katie Kitchen
- Special remarks from:
- Terry L. Walker, director of the CSU Veterans and Military Student Success Center (VMSCC)
- CSU President Dr. Laura J. Bloomberg
- Sergeant First Class Christopher White, Ohio Army National Guard
- CSU student Jawahir Muhammad
- Major Michael Artbauer US Marine Corps (Retired), CSU Provost’s Chief of Staff
- 2023 Northeast Ohio Foundation for Patriotism (NEOPAT) and CSU Student Veteran of the Year Captain William T. Olmstead, Ohio Army National Guard
