Getting Started with Copilot Agents

Microsoft Copilot Agents are AI-powered assistants you can customize to work the way you do with no coding required. In this intro session, you'll build your very first agent using Copilot's easy to use panels. Whether you're new to AI tools or just getting started with Copilot, this hands-on session will give you a solid foundation to start putting agents to work for you.

Prompt Smarter: Better Prompts Better Results

When: Thursday, September 17th, 11:30am to 12:20pm
Where: Rhodes West 280

Develop practical prompting strategies that produce more accurate, useful results. You'll explore techniques like role assignment, chain-of-thought prompting, and iterative refinement, applied to real tasks from your own classes, and leave with a repeatable framework you can use immediately. Facilitators will demonstrate prompt models using AI Conversations in Blackboard and Microsoft Copilot.

AI and Authentic Assessment

This workshop explores how to design authentic assessments that align with the presence of use of generative AI. Rather than use AI to create assessments, the session focuses on crafting meaningful learning experiences that remain relevant and effective in an AI-enabled classroom.
