Campus Resources
For urgent mental health support during business hours:
- Call the Counseling Center at 216-687-2277
- Come to walk-in hours from 1–3 p.m., Monday–Friday. At these times, you should be able to talk with a counselor shortly after you call or walk in. If you are in crisis outside these times, but within 9 a.m.- 5 p.m., please call the Counseling Center and we will work to get the first counselor available to meet with you.
- If imminent risk or in need of transport to the hospital, call CSU Police at 216-687-2020
If after-hours mental health crisis:
- Call the Counseling Center's main number 216-687-2277 and follow the prompts to speak directly with a counselor over the phone
- Call or text the National Suicide Prevention Hotline at 988, or chat at 988lifeline.org/chat
- Text “4HOPE” to 741-741
- Go to your nearest emergency room
