Hello Vikings!

This is YOUR chance to step up and make a real difference at Cleveland State University. SGA Special Election applications are LIVE, and we're looking for passionate students ready to advocate for better campus life, stronger student services, and more opportunities to belong and create success for students.

Open positions are Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and 5 Senator positions. This isn't just about titles - it's about having the student leadership platform to improve our capacity to serve students, enhance campus facilities, influence university decisions, and ensure every Viking's voice is heard.

This is a leadership opportunity that lets you serve and advocate for the entire Cleveland State student body. Applications are available on VikesConnect with separate forms for each position. Make sure to read the position descriptions and requirements before applying. Applications close Monday, September 8th at 11:59 PM - don't wait until the last minute!

The special election will take place on September 29th. Here are the key dates you need to know:

• Sept 8th: Candidate Applications Close (11:59 PM) - Apply NOW
• Sept 15–16: Mandatory candidate training sessions (we'll provide you everything you need to run a great campaign)
• Sept 19: Campaign kick-off meeting
• Sept 22–26: Campaign week (time to connect with fellow Vikings)
• Sept 24: Executive Board debate (show CSU what you're made of)
• Sept 29: Election Day
• Oct 1: Results finalized and announced Once applications close, we'll reach out with your next steps. We know you care about CSU and here is your chance to make an impact, we want to hear from you.
