VIKING CARD

A Viking Card is your official campus identification card. It’s required for all active members of the CSU community. You’ll need your Viking Card for everything – for your parking permit, accessing garages, the Rec Center, athletic events, the library, to borrow a laptop, for your meal plan and so much more! Learn more.

VIKINGCASH

VikingCash is an online spending account that allows you to use your Viking Card for campus purchases. VikingCash balances stay on your account from semester to semester and year to year as long as you are registered at CSU. VikingCash is not accepted for tuition or fees. Learn more.

 HOW TO ACCESS COMPUTER LABS AND BORROW A LAPTOP

General purpose computer labs are open to all students and include PCs and Macs. CSU’s campus is wireless, so students are encouraged to use their own laptops and connect to our network CSUwireless.

• Additional labs are available for students as needed in specific academic programs

Laptop Loaner Program

Currently registered students in good standing with the university can borrow laptops, tablets and graphing calculators for up to four days at no cost. Availability is first come, first served.

• Visit Mobile Campus in the Student Center (SC) to register and check out a device.

HEALTH & WELLNESS SERVICES

CSU Health & Wellness Services is a nationally accredited medical facility located in the heart of campus, for easy access to primary and same day care, women’s health care, counseling, limited in-house pharmacy and laboratory services, allergy shots and immunizations, anonymous HIV testing, health educational programming and more. Learn more.

• Call 216-687-3649 to schedule an appointment or stop by the clinic located in the Center for Innovations in Medical Professions (CIMP), room 205.

Student Health Insurance Plans

CSU offers student health insurance for those not currently covered or if your plan is with an HMO or restricted PPO outside of the Cleveland area. Our plan also covers students studying abroad. Learn more.

COUNSELING CENTER

The Counseling Center offers free personal counseling to CSU students. The center is staffed by licensed mental health professionals and advanced graduate students under the close supervision of the professional staff. Services are confidential, within ethical and legal professional limits. Learn more.

DISABILITY & TESTING SERVICES

The Office of Disability & Testing Services coordinates accommodations for individuals with disabilities which range from learning disabilities, chronic health conditions, attention deficit disorders, psychological conditions, visual impairments, mobility impairments, hearing impairments and everything in between. They also are responsible for administiring, proctoring and scoring a wide range of exams for the CSU community and others in the region. 

Students seeking accommodations must submit their request through Disability Services to determine eligibility and create a plan that ensures the student receives equal access and participation in the CSU community.

Lift Up Vikes (LUV)

CSU’s on-campus food pantry located in Berkman Hall (BH), room 122, connects students with resources that supplement nutrition and other basic human needs. Students must complete a one-time contact and agreement form prior to using the pantry. Once the form is processed, students can “shop” during open pantry hours. Learn more.
