The Club Steering Wheel Lock Pick-Up Table

The Club Steering Wheel Lock
Date(s) of Event:
Friday, September 1, 2023 - 10:00am to 2:00pm

Cleveland State University Police Department and Parking and Transportation Services — in partnership with Hospitality Services — are welcoming students who own Kia and Hyundai vehicles to pick up their free anti-theft device from the Parking and Transportation Services Office. Amid a rash of thefts taking advantage of the cars’ security vulnerabilities and a rise in violent crimes committed with the vehicles, CSU is pleased to provide this additional protection to our students.

CSU PD graciously received 100 additional anti-theft devices — known as The Club — from Hyundai that lock the vehicles’ steering wheels, making theft more difficult.

Safety is our top priority here at CSU. #BeSafeCLEstate

To receive a free steering wheel lock, interested parties should visit the parking table located in the foyer of Berkman Hall, adjacent to the Parking and Transportation Office BH 115, Friday, 9/1 between 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

  • Qualified Kia and Hyundai owners must be enrolled in Fall 2023 courses and have a valid Viking Card ID. Proof of vehicle registration is required.
  • One club available per student. While supplies last.
