English + Computer Science B.A.

The integrated Bachelor of Arts in English and Computer Science degree offers an interdisciplinary experience for students that merges literature, research, writing and rhetoric, with theoretical and mathematical foundations of computing. This integrated degree offers students an opportunity to gain skills, knowledge and experience in two areas (English and computer science) which is a growing necessity for employability in 2023 and beyond.

Curriculum

A minimum of 120 credit hours are required to earn the Bachelor of Arts in English and Computer Science degree. The major program requires completion of 56 credits in the major.

These courses are required for all English + Computer Science majors: All students are required to complete the following courses with a grade of “C” or higher. ENG 306 is a pre-requisite for all 300 and 400-level literature and creative writing classes.
